Possible change of leadership in Jharkhand

The release of Sri Shibu Soren from Dumka Central Jail on the verdict of Supreme Court is likely going to caste a long shadow on the political scenario in Jhadkahnd. A political turmoil is brewing up in the apparently placate looking politics of Jhk. The moment the release order was communicated by the Tihar Jail authorities to Dumka Central Jail political activities has geared up violently cantering around him. JMM, the big brother of the state UPA, is keen to see Guruji at the helm of the state. The Congress, RJD and other allies are non-committal over the issue yet. They are measuring the situation with apparent indifference. Since the fate of Madhu Koda, the independent CM, rests in the hands of UPA Leaders in Delhi, the state leaders have refrained themselves from making any comment. Interestingly, Madhu Koda him self has asserted that he is always ready to step down for Guruji if the Delhite UPA leaders desire so. Incidentally, each and every constituent member of the UPA Govt. in Jhk is unhappy with the functioning of M. Koda as the CM. But, in the absence of a credible and acceptable alternative leader in any of the allies of UPA, M Koda has been advantageously leading the Govt. The only exception would be the return of Guruji, who has the largest number of followers and has immense influence among the tribal of Jhadkhand.
But, whether the Guruji is himself interested at all to go back to the state politics is remained to be answered. He himself backed M Koda as the CM of Jhk in the UPA meeting in Delhi. He is also non-committal over the issue and has bypassed the question telling he will be now very busy in campaigning for his part candidate in the by poll of Jamshedpur Lokshabha Sheet. He is likely to meet the PM, Manmohon Singh at the end of this month. Besides, a number of cases including the Chirudihi massacre are pending against him. If any of the court passes any order convicting him and punishing him after he has replaced M Koda as the CM, the NDA will certainly make profit of the situation and will make things sour for the UPA.Also, the top leaders of Congress and RJD in the State are least interested to see Sibhu Soren as the CM. According to them, M Koda could be bent to any extent to get things done for them, which is most unlikely to happen with the Guruji as the CM. So for the next few days there will be quite a flutter in the politics of Jhadkhand.
